Soul Readings

Meet yourself through symbols, story, and reflection.

Tarot is not about predicting your future. It is a way of listening more deeply to the one already unfolding.Together we use tarot, oracle cards, astrology, and conversation to explore the patterns, questions, and possibilities present in your life. The cards become a mirror, helping us notice what may already be asking for your attention.Whether you're navigating a transition, seeking clarity, or simply longing to reconnect with yourself, these readings offer a thoughtful space to pause, reflect, and remember what you already know.

Community

Community isn't something we find.
It's something we practice.

One of the deepest longings I see today is the desire for genuine connection.I offer to be a steward for community by creating spaces where women can gather, learn together, practice vulnerability, navigate communication with curiosity and compassion, and build the kinds of relationships that become richer over time. Through conversations, shared experiences, books, creative projects, meals, and time spent outdoors, we'll explore what it means to truly know one another.Rather than expecting friendship to simply happen, we'll practice the skills that help it grow—listening deeply, honoring differences, communicating honestly, and creating space where everyone belongs.Together, we can remember, reimagine, and practice the art of communing in a world that often leaves us connected by technology, yet longing for something more deeply human.

Into Nature

Meet yourself through creativity,
curiosity, and the living world.

This is where I'll be sharing workshops and creative experiences inspired by the land—junk journaling, mullein candles, dreamcatchers, nature weaving, botanical art, and whatever the season invites us to create together.I'm also beginning to offer one-on-one and private intuitive creative experiences for those who feel called to reconnect with themselves through nature, creativity, and the quiet wisdom of the living world. If this sounds like exactly what you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you. Reach out, and together we can create an Into Nature experience that's unique to you.

Personalized Experiences

The most meaningful rituals are the ones created for the people standing within them.

Not every meaningful milestone fits neatly into a package.I love collaborating with individuals, families, organizations, and even event planners to create experiences rooted in nature, symbolism, and intention. Whether you're envisioning a handfasting ceremony, a coming-of-age rite, a first moon celebration, a crone initiation, a graduation, a celebration of life, a retreat, or another meaningful threshold, we'll create something that reflects the people, the place, and the story being honored.Rather than planning every detail of an event, I help weave the deeper layers into it—nature-inspired rituals, seasonal symbolism, handcrafted décor, moments of reflection, interactive experiences, and meaningful ways to invite people into connection with one another and the land.If you have an idea you'd like to bring to life—or simply know you want something that feels more intentional than traditional—I would love to collaborate with you.

Seasonal Offerings

Reconnecting with the wisdom of the changing seasons

Throughout the year, I'll be offering gatherings and experiences inspired by the turning of the seasons—Yuletide celebrations, All Hallows' Eve gatherings, spring awakenings, summer abundance, autumn harvest, and the quieter moments in between. Together we'll slow down, notice what's changing around us, and rediscover meaningful ways of marking the seasons through nature, creativity, ritual, and community. Some offerings will be shared in groups, while others may be personal experiences designed around your own life, family, or traditions. If you're longing to celebrate the changing seasons more intentionally—or have a special seasonal gathering, ritual, or celebration you'd like to create—I would love to collaborate with you. Every season offers a new opportunity to remember, and every gathering begins with a conversation.

Let's Create Something Meaningful

Some of the most meaningful experiences begin with a simple idea.Maybe you're planning a wedding beneath the trees, dreaming of a seasonal gathering, creating a retreat, celebrating a life transition, bringing people together, or imagining something that doesn't quite fit into a traditional category. If it centers around connection, nature, ritual, or meaningful experience, I'd love to hear about it.Share your idea below, and let's explore what's possible together.

About Hekate Remembers

I’m Lydia Tempest Hawkins, the woman behind Hekate Remembers.I have always been a seeker, storyteller, space-maker, and collector of meaning. I am drawn to the places where mythology meets psychology, where the natural world becomes a mirror, and where the seemingly separate pieces of a life reveal themselves as part of a deeper pattern.I aim to live deeply. I remember—or perhaps long for—a way of living in which life itself was understood as sacred: when temples abounded, ritual marked the thresholds of our lives, and dreams, symbols, intuition, the body, and the natural world were honored as meaningful ways of knowing alongside reason and observable fact. This is the remembering at the heart of my work.Through soul readings, experiences with horses, seasonal gatherings, nature-based ritual, and private collaborations, I help people step beneath the surface of their lives, connect the pieces of their own stories, and recognize the meaning already taking shape within them.I am not here to tell you who you are or dictate what your future holds. I am here to walk with you toward the threshold, illuminate what is present, and create the conditions in which you can remember for yourself.

Why Hekate?

I have long resonated with both Artemis—the wild goddess of the hunt and protector of women and children—and Hekate, goddess of thresholds, crossroads, transformation, and the unseen.Hekate Remembers is my personal dedication to Hekate and to the work of remembering she represents. Like the symbols tattooed upon my body, its name and emblem remind me of who I am, what I serve, and how I have chosen to walk through this life. What I offer is not only a gift to others; it is part of my own devotional practice—a dedication to my higher purpose, to the sacredness of life, and to remembering the goddess.Hekate is a threshold walker. She moves between worlds, accompanying others through uncertainty, descent, transition, and becoming. She carries the torch, not to choose the path for us, but to illuminate what is present when we arrive at a crossroads.

This is also the work I feel called to do: to stand at the threshold with others, create a protected space for what is unfolding, and help illuminate the threads of meaning that may be difficult to see from inside the experience.

Through astrology, symbolism, horses, nature, ritual, and conversation, I help people connect the seemingly separate pieces of their lives and listen for what is already stirring within them. I do not walk another person’s journey for them or decide where their path should lead. I serve as a bridge—helping them carry what they discover toward greater clarity, possibility, belonging, and transformation. To me, remembering does not mean returning to an idealized past. It means recovering what has been buried beneath expectation, responsibility, survival, distraction, and noise. It means reclaiming the parts of ourselves—and the ways of knowing—that the modern world has taught us to dismiss.Hekate Remembers is an invitation to pause at the threshold, gather what has been forgotten, and choose how you wish to walk forward.

The Symbolism of the Logo

Every element of the Hekate Remembers symbol carries a piece of my story, my calling, and my dedication. The three sheaves of wheat represent a sacred purpose that has returned to me through dreams and inner experiences across many years: to help people remember. Wheat is an ancient symbol of nourishment, cultivation, devotion, harvest, death, and renewal. The three sheaves also honor the patterns of three woven throughout mythology and through Hekate herself: maiden, mother, and crone; past, present, and future; descent, transformation, and return. The wheat also carries a deeply personal astrological meaning. Spica is the star marking the sheaf of wheat held by the goddess in the constellation Virgo—the cultivated gift she offers to humanity. In my birth chart, Spica’s tropical degree falls within my eighth house, the realm of descent, mystery, intimacy, death, renewal, and profound transformation. Spica also shares a powerful fixed-star relationship with my Jupiter, the planet of wisdom, meaning, philosophy, and the transmission of what we have learned. For me, this speaks to the gift of entering life’s deeper places, gathering the meaning hidden there, and offering it back in a form that can nourish others.

My Jupiter in Capricorn and in the eleventh house of community reminds me that this gift must be cultivated through dedication, responsibility, and sustained work—and then carried beyond myself. The serpent represents the transformation required to embody what we discover. She moves close to the earth and through hidden places, shedding the form that can no longer contain her while carrying its wisdom forward. She reminds us that remembering is not simply recovering knowledge; it is allowing what we remember to change the way we live. The stars represent guidance, mystery, and the larger patterns connecting our individual lives to the natural, ancestral, mythic, and celestial worlds.Together, these symbols form a personal emblem of both devotion and purpose. The wheat is the gift of wisdom gathered from the depths. The serpent is the transformation that occurs when we embody it. Hekate is the bridge between them—the torchbearer who accompanies the journey of descent, discovery, transformation, and return. This is the heart of Hekate Remembers: to gather meaning, allow it to transform us, and carry what we have learned home into our lives.

My Vision

Hekate Remembers is not a polished business plan or a finished destination. It is a living body of work—something I am continuing to practice, shape, and bring into the real world.I am also a mother of four with a full-time job. I am building this within a full and ordinary human life: imperfectly, gradually, and with great devotion. This website will continue to change because I am continuing to change. New offerings may emerge as I study, collaborate, experiment, and discover what wants to be created next. The experiences I currently offer—soul readings, time with horses, nature-based gatherings, ritual, and private collaborations—are part of that vision, but they are not its limits. My deeper intention is to cultivate meaningful ways for people to reconnect with themselves, one another, their bodies, and the living world.I do not approach this work as someone standing above you with answers. I am not your guru, healer, or authority over your life. I am a companion: someone who can walk beside you, help tend the space around your questions, offer another way of seeing, and notice the threads that begin to emerge. We may meet once at a particular crossroads. We may walk together through many seasons. Either way, I want to honor not only what I bring to the encounter, but what you bring with you. Every person who seeks my guidance, collaboration, or companionship arrives with their own knowledge, history, gifts, and ways of seeing. The exchange changes me, too. The experience is something we enter and create together.

Some of this work is gentle and contemplative: sitting beside a horse, gathering around a fire, listening for a symbol, or allowing the body to become quiet enough to hear what lies beneath the noise. But nature is not only soft, beautiful, or fairy-like. It is also muscular, demanding, instinctual, untamed, and alive. This is where Artemis continues to enter my vision.I want to create more opportunities for women to reconnect with their athletic bodies—not through punishment, appearance, or the demand to become smaller, but through strength, stamina, movement, challenge, pleasure, and trust. I want to recover practices that help us inhabit our bodies fully and live in relationship with nature in all its forms: the beautiful and the brutal, the quiet and the intense, the nurturing and the wild.My vision is to keep learning, creating, collaborating, and bringing these ideas into physical form. I want to help cultivate real community: not an audience built around me, but a living network of people who bring their own wisdom, skills, questions, and offerings into relationship with one another.Hekate Remembers is my way of honoring the lives that intersect with mine—and the sacred, sometimes brief, sometimes enduring ways we accompany one another on the long walk home. This work is still becoming. So am I.And perhaps, if our paths cross, we will walk part of the way together.

The Paths That Led Me Here

My work is shaped by both formal study and a lifetime of curiosity. My background includes:~ Graduate-level study of Tarot and Transformation through University of Philosophical Research (now Philosophical Research Society)~ Certificate of Advanced Studies in Astrology from the Los Angeles Astrology School~ Certification in Holistic Health Coaching through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition~ Pending Certificate in Depth Practices, Foundational Depth & Archetypal Theory with Dr. Vanya Leilani, Ph.D.~ A Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Marymount University, with a focus in ethics, meaning, and the questions that shape how we live~ Professional training and certification in knowledge management

~ Experience in teaching, training, facilitation, writing, and translating complex ideas into something people can meaningfully and practically integrate into their lives~ Ongoing study of mythology, psychology, spirituality, women’s traditions, symbolism, nature, and the human search for meaningKnowledge management may seem like an unusual companion to tarot, horses, mythology, and ritual—but to me, it belongs here.I have always been a collector and connector of knowledge. I am drawn to gathering fragments from different worlds, recognizing the relationships between them, and finding ways for what matters to be preserved, understood, and shared.Whether I am working with symbols, stories, dreams, astrological patterns, organizational knowledge, or the pieces of someone’s lived experience, I am often doing the same essential work:Helping make the invisible connections visible, and deepen our relationship to the spiritual experience.
